REVIEW - Today I'd like to show you the OKNIFE U1 Pro Folding Utility Knife. This EDC utility knife packs a small quick change blade utility knife into a pocket knife style form factor. But it's not just a knife, it has an extra feature that turns it into a handy multi-tool. Let's take a look.

Design and features
The U1 Pro is available in a variety of colors. The one that I'm showing here is the G10 with Carbon Fiber overlay version. The scales have a matte finish with beveled edges. One side has a very strong pocket clip with the OKNIFE logo.
It's easy to open either by grabbing and unfolding the blade, or with the thumb-stud for one-handed deployment. Either way, you get a satisfying click when the blade fully opened.
The OKNIFE U1 Pro uses a rail lock which means the blade securely locks in place when fully unfolded.
To close the blade, you pull down on the two spring loaded buttons on either side of the blade to unlock the rail lock. You can see this in action by watching the video below in the see it in action section.
One of my favorite features is the easy blade change mechanism. See that knob in the image above with the little lock on it? That secures the blade. To replace the blade, you just turn the knob counterclockwise. You can either do this with your fingernail, or...
...you can use the included tool.
Another great feature of this utility knife is just how much blade is exposed compared to other utility knives. The OKNIFE U1 Pro gives you quite a bit of cutting surface.
But wait, there's more! The OKNIFE U1 Pro isn't just a utility knife, it's also a multi-tool. Hidden in the spine is a bit-driver that holds a dual-headed bit.
To use the bit driver, you have to first press the button on the side to unlock it and you have to press the button again when you want to fold it back in place.
The bit driver is magnetic, so there's no worry that you'll lose the bit either in use or when not in use.

Final thoughts
The OKNIFE U1 Pro is currently my favorite small EDC utility knife. I like it because the blade deploys easily and smoothly and it folds into a small form factor. It's the perfect size for cutting boxes open, it's comfortable in hand, and it's easy to carry in your pocket.
